Teach Us To Pray
Series Overview
“Teach us to pray” is what the disciples asked Jesus in the Gospel of Luke. From the context, it seems like they asked him because John the Baptist (Jesus’ cousin) had taught his disciples to pray, and Jesus’ disciples realized they were missing the boat when it came to prayer.
Have you ever felt like that?
Like everyone else seems to know the secret sauce of prayer, but you somehow missed that day at church. Or maybe you chalk it up to not having grown up in church?
Can I let you in on the secret about prayer?
Most of us feel like beginners when it comes to prayer.
Through January and February, we’re going to look at what the Bible teaches us about prayer, especially in the famous “Lord’s Prayer”, and put what we’re learning into practice.
